There is a craft sale in Amboy in a couple of weeks. at first I said I didn't want to do it because I have had so many experiences that have scarred me a bit....
but on a second thought Erica and I decided that we might give it another shot. I'm not sure what she is bringing, but she want's to try again and so I asked for the info.
I do have a bit larger selection this year as I will add what didn't sell last year with new things I've made this year.

I'll have all my store listings - necklaces, earrings, and I'll be making some bracelets.
also some hats and a baby cocoon, wash cloths, soap saver bags and other bathroom items.
now I need to devise a display

the secret revealed

it is not uncommon to hear these words around here "I want just one day of no fighting"

now I'm not sure what caused Emma to finally ponder on this but it occurred to her that they made good on that already... on Christmas day. She then announced this to me which then got Connor thinking about the phenomenon. He calculated the answer shortly after and now the secret is out!

"you know how we didn't fight on Christmas?"
"yeah"
"it's because we were so happy from getting presents"



Now I just have to get presents for them everyday and I will never hear fighting again!

a rare moment

on occasion one of the kids will say something so sweet and so wonderful that it just about expunges all the naughtiness and fighting from their record. (not that I'm acutally keeping one)

yesterday Connor and Ronan went to my sister's house and we kept one of hers until after supper.
Tim and I went to make the switch. As soon as we got out there Connor came up to me and hugged me and told me that he missed me so much.
sometimes he will do this, usually when he wants something, so it kind of took me by surprise a little and makes me wonder what's wrong because after we got home he told me this...

Connor: I don't want Erica to get married (Erica is 15 and does not even have a boyfriend)
Me: why don't you want her to get married?
Connor: Because I love her...... and I will miss her.


awwww. I just melted

it just happened

I did not do this on purpose.
Connor wanted some scrambled eggs the other day and so I figured that while I was making some for him I would cut to the chase and just make enough for Ronan, too.
I was just cracking them and dropping them in the pan. I don't have time to be so creative with food that will just end up a mess anyway.it was nice to see a happy face, even if it was comprised of eggs and melted butter

ugh, it's hot.

"how hot?" you might ask.

well, it is so hot that my children's creativity has significantly diminished.
The three youngest are playing a game in which they are aliens and of course they must decided where they live. it has been decided that they live on "planet 'Alien World' ".

now if it would only cool off they might think of a better name

So I have a few people cattle prod me

and so I decided to add a few listings to the store.

They say I'm super talented and that the necklaces are cute. (and who cares what the dim people in our town think/or don't, I'm sell-able....)
