we are one step closer to financial freedom~ only a couple more steps to go since the only big debt we have left are the house and car.
we received our tax return last week. I paid off my student loan right away.
getting rid of debt is so freeing. If you've never done it, you really should. it's just amazing how you feel after throwing the debt monkey off your back.

I have been trying to get out of debt since we got married. It is such a huge burden, and we've never even been in debt for anything frivolous. Stuff like school and root canals when you don't have insurance and losing money on the sale of your house when you move. It's such a drag. I'm so happy for you! Someday that'll be me too!
Good for you! We're getting enough back to pay everything (except the house) off, plus extra. Just in time for medical bills and a newer van purchase! Isn't that the way it always goes?
